The New SkatePlate
The new version of the SkatePlate uses some of the best materials available rendering it a very durable accessory on even the most challenging work sites. For example, the plate housing is constructed from highly durable glass-filled high-impact nylon. The rollers made from high-quality polyurethane and are 80 Durometer. They are constructed with Delrin bearings and stainless steel roller shafts. Other components utilize an assortment of high quality aluminum and nylon materials.

SkatePlate Usage and Instructions

The depth cut loss on both versions of SkatePlate is very nominal at less than an 1/8”.
SkateGuide
Yes. The SkateGuide is universal and fits both versions of the SkatePlate. However, remember that the SkateGuide was specifically designed as a useful accessory to the SkatePlate. It also works on the big foot saw from Skil. The SkateGuide was not intended for and may not fit on other circular saws or accessories available on the market.
SkateGuide is longer than stock guides and will allow for rip cuts in excess of 12”.
H20
Yes, the SkatePlate H20 fits both the Sidewinder and Wormdrive versions of the SkatePlate. A special attachment has been designed for attaching the H2O kit to the SkatePlate.
Yes. A special attachment was designed and comes with the H2O water kit that allows for the simultaneous use of both the SkateGuide and the H2O kit.
The GFCI for the H2O is rated for outdoor use.
The brass spray nozzle for the H2O kit was designed to provide a precision spray directed specifically to the point of the cut. The spray is high pressure but low volume so it will not flood out the area being cut. Moreover, by directing the spray on the blade and behind the SkatePlate rollers, it does not affect snapped chalk lines in front of the saw.

SkatePlate and SkatePlate-related products are distributed and sold through over 20,000 retail and e-commerce outlets in the United States and in 16 countries around the world.

Depending on your desired shipping method, our products can be delivered as quickly as the next day after an order is processed. Your order will come with a tracking number in the order confirmation email.
